DJ Toomp" Davis named as one of the "Best Hitmakers" by Rolling Stone Magazine

Aldrin "DJ Toomp" Davis was just named as one of the "Best Hitmakers" by Rolling Stone Magazine in their "Best of Rock" issue. While Danger Mouse, the maestro behind Gnarls Barkley snagged the top honor as "Best Producer", other talented beat bangers recognized include: Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse), Timbaland (Justin Timberlake) and Rob Cavallo (Dave Matthews Band). DJ Toomp is known as the "go to" man for hip-hop and pop's elite working with a wide-range of platinum and multi-platinum artists including Kanye West, Jay-Z, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Ludacris and Mariah Carey, to name a few.

DJ Toomp is also excited about the current success of Carey's #1 LP, being that he produced the track "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" from the songbird's eleventh studio album E=MC2. In addition to churning out hits, DJ Toomp is also busy outside the booth sitting on panels such as BMI's 11th Annual Unsigned Urban Showcase, hosting music producer workshops for kids and recently participated in last weekend's "Turn Up The Vote" summit in Philadelphia alongside TI, Ciara, Gorilla Zoe and Flo Rida. Up next for the innovative A-list producer is the highly-anticipated collaboration between he and TI on the rapper's upcoming album. DJ Toomp is also serving as Executive Producer of the project.
