Rapper C-MURDER has had his request to travel out of the state of Louisiana denied while he awaits a retrial on a second-degree murder charge.The troubled star - real name Corey Miller - is currently under house arrest in his New Orleans home after being released on $500,000 (GBP250,000) bail in March 2006.
The 36-year-old brother of hip-hop star Master P stands accused of fatally shooting teenager Steve Thomas outside a local nightclub in 2002.
Miller's 2003 conviction was thrown out in 2006 when prosecutors were found guilty of withholding criminal background information on witnesses.
Earlier this month (Apr08), Miller's lawyers entered a court motion asking for permission to travel to Jackson, Mississippi to attend a book rally that is being sponsored by his company TRU Publishing.
However, the request was turned down by a Louisiana judge on Tuesday (22Apr08).
His retrial is due to start in June (08).
