BUSTA and MISSY to close First Ever GRAMMY TOUR

Busta Rhymes, Seal and Missy Elliott are among the bevy of artists set to perform during the final dates of the first-ever Grammy Celebration Tour, reports Live Daily.

Presented by the Recording Academy in conjunction with T-Mobile, the tour features Grammy-winning and -nominated artists, and will wind down with four dates throughout the month, with the next show coming April 9 at New York City with Busta and Missy.

The tour kicked off April 3 in Chicago with a roster featuring John Legend, Cat Power and Colbie Caillat.

After New York's show at Webster Hall, the tour stops at Miami's Jackie Gleason Theater on April 16 with a lineup of Ozomatli, Kat Deluna and Pitbull. Kid Rock will headline the tour's April 23 stop at the Granada Theatre in Dallas, TX, while Seal and Sean Kingston perform at the run's final concert on April 30 at the Avalon in Los Angeles.

"With this fantastic program, not only does The Recording Academy provide music fans an opportunity to help celebrate our 50th Anniversary, it also pays tribute to some of the artists that have played an important role in the Grammy Awards' meaningful history and gives rising stars a chance to be a part of that legacy," said Recording Academy chief marketing officer Evan Greene in a press release.
